I had been reading factory wiring diagrams for two years and still botched a no-power complaint last month. Module one (schematic literacy) reframed how I read a page — I went back to the same diagram the next day and found the missing terminating resistor I had blamed on a bad BCM. Customer happy, ticket closed.
The voltage-drop module is the one to send to anyone who says 'it's a ground.' I ran the drop test on an alternator charging complaint and pulled a 0.4V drop across a six-inch ground strap — the strap was corroded at the chassis stud. Replaced the strap, charging system back at 14.2V. One module, one fix.
Solid multimeter fundamentals and the relay-identification chapter cleared up a question I had carried for a year about why some relays have a fifth pin. Knock one star because the splice-isolation drills are simpler than what I get on the bench — would love a deeper dive on long-harness parasitic draws.
